BRF poultry exports to EU suspended by Brazilian authorities
The Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture, Supply and Conservation expects to solve the ban imposed on Friday by the Brazilian government in a period of maximum 30 days, according to Luiz Eduardo Rangel, the head of Brazil's food safety service, quoted by Reuters.
The precautionary measure of banning BRF's products from being shipped to the EU was decided after suspicions arisen regarding suspicions that the company had engaged in fraud to evade food safety checks.
