Brazilian chicken meat exports totaled 322 thousand tonnes in November
In value, shipments generated $ 527.3 million in November, 5.5% less than the US $ 557.7 million recorded in the previous year.
In the first 11 months of the year, chicken meat exports totaled 3,748 million tonnes, a volume 6.3% lower than the 3.999 million tonnes shipped in the same period last year. The balance in revenue reaches $5.991 billion, 10.8% lower than the US $6.712 billion obtained between January and November 2017.
"Although smaller compared to the previous month, November's export performance confirms the recovery of the sector in the second half of the year, whose average monthly shipments of 382.2 thousand tons, is 4.3% higher than last year," said Francisco Turra, president of ABPA.
