Dutch processor Diviande opens new facility in Veenendaal
Diviande has opened last month a new facility in Veenendaal on an 8,000 sqm area moving its operations from the town of Twello.
The new plant has multiple production rooms for different purposes, including high care, convenience, halal products and an in-house experience centre for the visitors.
"The experience centre enables us to demonstrate the ins and outs of our production process, packaging methods and brands. It contains scaled-down examples of the machines used in our production facility", as mentioned in a press release.
About the production area, Diviande explained that it was build according to BREAAM-NL standards. "The facility is fitted with the latest, most sustainable solutions as standard to keep the impact on nature and the environment to a minimum. It also contains a number of refrigeration and freezer units", said the company.
Diviande developed tailored concepts for professionals and consumers through its own brands – Portionfrost and Passion for Meat – and for private label clients.
