Eurodon increased its turkey meat production by 15% in one month

Eurodon, the second largest turkey producer in Russia, announced that it produced 7,500 tons of turkey meat in live weight in September this year, an increase of 15% compared to August and 75% above the production in July.

In total, over 34 thousand tons of turkey meat were produced in January-September, of which over 17 thousand tons in July-September. Average daily production volume, since August, exceeds 400 tons, according to the company's press release.

Eurodon resumed production from July 2017 and for a few months reached the level of the average daily output from the end of 2016. Since December, the company has planned to double the volume of production with the output of a monthly production capacity of 12 thousand tons of turkey meat. In addition, Eurodon said that the increase in production is due to the fact that its facilities are operating at full capacity.

The production of meat products is still based on a wide range. The company's portfolio contains chilled meat and semi-finished products, and a group of deep processing of poultry meat: sausages, sausages, boiled-smoked products and various delicacies. The share of processed products is gradually increasing and now amounts to about 10%.

Eurodon implemented investment projects in the field of turkey farming in the Rostov region. The company provides the consumer market with chilled meat of high quality and also produces a wide range of sausage, ham and delicacy groups.

Over 10 years of development, the company has grown by 10 times. Since its founding, the company produced more than 400 thousand tons of meat products.
In December 2016, the year went on a daily record of 503 tons.
According to the results of 2016, the enterprise produced 74.5 thousand tons of meat.
