Noel invest 35 million in a new unit

Noel is about to fully start production next year in one of the most advanced processing plants for pork in Europe. €35 million were invested in the unit located near Gerona, which was partially open this month. The new Noel plant exclusively houses the cutting, packaging and freezing of meat and pork products. "We will be able to continue strengthening our presence in Spain, consolidate ourselves in the more than 66 countries where we are already present and value the entry into new territories. It is a step forward that will allow us to optimize production and be more competitive in an increasingly demanding global market. In addition, added to our own farm project, we will have absolute control of the traceability of the raw material that is destined not only for the production of fresh products but also for other divisions of the group such as the charcuterie business unit", declared the company's CEO, Joan Boix.
The new facility is equipped with industrial 4.0 technology and has all the necessary measures and protocols to guarantee the highest quality and food safety of the products, informed the company in a press release.
