Patel advances in prevention and obtains the ISO 45001 occupational health and safety certificate

Patel, one of the main pork slaughterhouses of the Vall Companys Group, has obtained ISO 45001 certification, in line with its desire for continuous improvement in terms of the safety and health of its workers. Patel is thus positioned as one of the pioneering companies in the sector and the first in the Vall Companys Group to obtain ISO 45001 certification.
Some of the benefits granted by this certificate are: the reduction of injuries and illnesses related to employment; the elimination of hazards or reduction of occupational risks; the improvement of the performance and the effectiveness of Safety and Health at work; employee motivation and commitment; and raising awareness and developing a preventive culture in the organization, among others.
Patel's ISO 45001 certification project has had the essential involvement of all company departments and the collaboration and participation of all workers.
