VanDrie Group will acquire a majority stake in Gosschalk

The VanDrie Group and Exportslachterij J. Gosschalk en Zn. B.V. announced that they have signed a declaration of intent under which the VanDrie Group will acquire a majority stake in Gosschalk. This agreement between the two family-owned companies will be worked out in greater detail and requires approval from the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM).

VanDrie Group will acquire a majority stake in Gosschalk

The companies see promising opportunities to jointly implement the required development at Exportslachterij J. Gosschalk en Zn. B.V. Strong commitment from both shareholders will contribute to investment capacity and lead to synergy benefits.

Exportslachterij J. Gosschalk en Zn B.V., based in Epe, processes beef and pork and achieved a turnover of EUR 200 million in 2022. The company's rich family history ties in well with the VanDrie Group. The VanDrie Group produces veal, beef, (calf) feed and raw dairy materials. With a turnover of EUR 2.75 billion, the company employs about 2,600 people. Both companies look forward to a successful collaboration and integration based on the same family values and a shared market vision.
