Marfrig concludes acquisition of Argentine-based Quickfood

Leading beef producer Marfrig Global Foods has conluded the acquisition of 91.89% of the capital of Argentine-based Quickfood, a subsidiary of Brazilian-based BRF.

Marfrig concludes acquisition of Argentine-based Quickfood

The company operates three plants with combined monthly production capacity of 6,000 tons of processed products.
Quickfood also owns some of the most recognized brands in the Argentine market, such as Paty beef patties and Vieníssimaa hot dogs, the latter the leader in its segment.

BRF has also entered into a five-year partnership with Marfrig for the production and distribution of beef patties, meatballs, kibbeh and other products at the plant in Várzea Grande, a city in the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso.
