Record in Argentinian beef exports to China
The Argentine export of frozen beef to China reported record growth of 90.7 percent year on year in the first four months of this year, according to a CICCRA report released this week. "Of every four kilograms of beef exported, three kilograms were sent to China," said a CICCRA report. During the period, there were 92,727 tons of Argentine frozen beef exported to China, representing an annual revenue increase of 84.6 percent despite a 3.2 percent fall in price, according to the report.
The volume of exports from January to April 2019 was the second highest for this period in 24 years, mentioned Xinhuanet agency. Other major importers of the Argentine beef are Chile, Israel, Germany, Russia, the Netherlands, Brazil, and Italy, the report said.
